In part 2 of treating Achilles tendon pain, we address the load found in our super explosive calf muscle the Gastrocnemius. Most of our power in the calf comes from this muscle so it's important to offload and take tension off the Achilles. It's even more important to manage the load that comes from the tendon rehab programs.
We address both the medial and lateral heads via passive release techniques. These techniques are very safe and sustainable.
