Came across this old video of mine I never uploaded, not really the best write up but just a brief walk-through of how this procedure is done.
The job took about 1 hour, the lengthy part was removing the cover which is held in by one torx screw.
There’s a few ways to go about removing the cover but the best method I used was the end of a hammer covered by a rag to prevent any damage which was used to essentially pry out the cover.
From there it’s as simple as disconnecting the connector, disconnecting the orange emergency release cable, & then installing your new actuator.
Tip: You can reuse your old emergency cable instead of trying to properly reroute the new the cable in place, lots of people take this route just because it’s not a necessity to replace that cable, nothing ever goes wrong with it unless your is torn/broken.
