حوالی ساعت ۵ صبح روز شنبه (۲۷ جوزا) یک مارکیت فروش لباس در هرات دچار آتش‌سوزی شد.
گفته می‌شود این آتش‌سوزی خسارات هنگفت مالی به صاحبان دوکان‌های این مارکیت وارد کرده است.
مردم علت این آتش‌سوزی را شارتی برق عنوان می‌کنند.
این مارکیت بنام قصر هرات یاد می‌شود و از بزرگ‌ترین مراکز فروش لباس‌های زنانه است.
