The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally altered the landscape for healthcare delivery, providing a specific opportunity for the VHA to identify and implement crucial change to meet the needs of our richly diverse Veteran communities. With the pandemic as an inflection point, the Reimagining Veteran Healthcare (RVH) project is leveraging the rigors of Human-Centered Design (HCD) -working directly with Veterans, Caregivers and VA employees to understand their experiences and ideas to transform Veteran healthcare.
With Veterans, caregivers, and frontline VHA employees at the center of our process, our work focuses around four key areas ¬¬- Needs of the Modern Veteran, Unserved and Underserved Populations, Shifts in Healthcare, and Novel Solutions - to help VHA set the standard for future change in the healthcare industry.
