The latest update on the Adani VS Hindenberg row is that the Adani FPO has been subscribed by more than 100%. Adani Group has proved that it can raise capital through equity at any time to pay back the loans. This Adani group's latest news is a big relief for everybody. Now the question is what’s going to happen with all the Adani Group Companies and their share prices. In this video, we’ve analyzed Adani Ports which I believe is built on a great business model. This Adani Ports analysis will tell you how Adani Ports is better positioned than all the other Adani Group businesses.
We started with the Adani Ports fundamental analysis. This is not an Adani Ports buy or sell video. But this will give you some idea of how the business model of Adani ports is good and how it can generate massive profits in the future. Adani Ports' profits have grown from 1700 Cr in 2014 to 5300 Cr in 2022. Adani Ports owns 95% of the market share in the private ports market. Their growth is sustained. They have been growing at a consistent pace.
Along with this Adani Ports has been acquiring ports for a long time. In 2014 Adani Ports acquired Namra Port, in 2015 Adani Port got into a contract with Kerala Gov to develop Vizhinjam port, in 2018 they acquired Kattupalli port, and so on. All these acquisitions over the past few years have started increasing Adani Ports’ profits. They are also well known for having good operational efficiencies. And everywhere Adani Ports is going, they are bringing these Operational Efficiencies into the picture. And thus they are generating good profits from these acquisitions. No matter what the market sentiment is, everyone still has to use ports and continue paying the Adanis for the same.
All of this means that the business and business model is sound. Adanis are the only players in this business. If we look at the debt-to-equity ratio then it is just 3. In comparison to other Adani Group businesses, this number is pretty good. And it is the only business that is bringing great positive cash flows. Hindenburg Research which was skeptical of Adani Group’s businesses has also praised the Adani Ports business in their report. A strong business model plus they don’t need any external funding makes for a very strong value proposition. This Adani Port share review will help you make a decision about whether it is a sound business or not.
Hindenburg Allegations against Adani Group don’t stand the test against Adani Ports. The Adani Ports stock has come down by 14% against other Adani Business stocks going up. This shows that even if the allegation of stock manipulation is true, Adani Group didn’t do a great job of it. Adani Ports was never on the list of allegations even by Hindenburg Research.
But if the other Adani businesses go down, just by the domino effect the Adnai Ports will also go down. What can we do? We should watch this stock closely for a few days. If the overall group is going up then I believe that this stock is leading the pack. If the overall group falls then this stock is gonna fall the most. This is my analysis of Adani Ports.
