Two Canadian friends toss on the tilleys and embark on a voyage to remember.
This was an old Fur Trading route used from 1799 - 1875. The river stretches all the way out to the Hudson's Bay! Put-in is at Rocky Mountain House and take-out is in Drayton Valley (roughly 138KM in total). River difficulty was intermediate (Class I-II+). Lots of log jams and sweepers. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in exploring some of central Alberta's finest scenery and history.
