The Report takes a look at the upcoming referendum on Scottish independence. In just over two week’s time, Scotland goes to the polls to deliver its verdict on whether it wants to remain a part of the United Kingdom or become an independent nation. Opinion polls have consistently shown a lead for a 'no' vote to break away from the union, however, the gap between the 'yes' and 'no' camps has drastically narrowed in recent weeks.
Joining Jonathan Steele to discuss the referendum and possible independence is James Meadway, a Senior Economist at the New Economics Foundation; and Jonathon Shafi, co-founder of the Radical Independence Campaign.
