ABOUT THE AMERICAN BGM-71 TOW IN SYRIA:
The US has been supplying the "Free Syrian Army" with TOW missile's since mid-conflict, with official sightings seen as early as April 2014. Optimized Variants such as BGM-71E-3B (improved tandem warhead against Explosive Reactive Armor [ERA]) were also spotted in 2014. TOW supplies dramatically increased in May 2015. The Free Syrian Army is split into many Islamic Groups, and as such, ISIS also got a hold of a significant number of TOW Missiles. In February 2015, as much as 23 Groups of the Southern FSA Front usage was recorded by the US "Carter Center". In summer 2015, it was widely used by the "Army of Conquest", or Al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham (Islamic Turkmen) in the Offensive on Northwestern Syria (and resulted in an Islamic Decisive Victory against the SAA). The TOW Missile fired by an Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Turkmen was also responsible for destroying a landed (from small-arms damage) Russian Mi-8 Helicopter in November 2015 during the Search & Rescue Operation of the Russian Su-24M Pilots. TOW Missiles are now again widely used against SAA, Hezbollah, and IRGC in the February Offensives to retake Syrian Territory. The results are shown in the Video, and are just parts of the large, intense battles taking place. A Syrian Mechanized Driver of a Russian T-90 tank claims that his new tank (was a T-72 operator prior, and had to take extra training to operate the T-90) not only stopped 7 Tandem-Shaped RPG hits, but also Deflected a TOW Missile due to the T-90s Shtora-1 Active Protection System [APS].
