The Osun state government has announced that local contractors are responsible for 95% of all ongoing construction works in the state, as part of the federal government's efforts to support indigenous resources and prioritize opportunities for local contractors. Governor Ademola Adeleke stated this during a visit by a team from the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, who visited various road projects in Osun, including the construction of a major flyover at Okefia and 5.5km Akoda-Baptist High School in Ede.
