A paper publised over 10 years ago reveals very strong evidence for the filamentation of plasma in diffuse clouds and also that transmutation help seed these diffuse clouds with more complex elements. Mainstream astronomers have struggled to explain how these diffuse clouds could contain very high levels of the H3+ ion and have had to invoke weak cosmic rays in an attempt to explain this but is there a far simpler way to explain this?
