Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. It was to continue for six hundred years longer as the national capital. Anuradhapura remained the proud seat of kingdom of Sri Lanka until the 11th century A.D. The city, now a World Heritage site, lies 205 km north of the current capital of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
This travel film is a little reflection of what I experienced in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. We visited Isurumuniya, Magul Uyana, Queen's Palace, Rathna Prasadaya, Kuttam Pokuna, Ranmasu Uyana, Samadhi Statue, Ruwanweli maha seya, Mihinthale, Abhayagiri Dagoba, Sri Maha Bodhi, Jetavanarama Dagoba, Royal Pleasure Gardens, Thuparama Dagoba, Moonstone, Mirisavatiya Dagoba, Eth Pokuna (Elephant Pond), Alms Hall, Lowamahapaya, Lankarama Dagoba and many more.
