Behind the wheel of a 2022 Ford Ranger XLT super crew 4x2 ! This platform has been around since 2011 and its when Ford took the Ranger of market here in the US. The rest of the world got this new 3rd/4th generation Ranger and its good but for todays standards its some what outdated specially with the new competition coming out.

This Ranger drives very smooth and pretty quiet for its class, the 2.3 L Turbo 4 has good power , its very comfortable and has plenty of abilities for a mid size truck. I found the ride on this 4x2 regular model to be a bit bouncy, but it is comfortable. The brakes feel good and responsive with good stopping power. overall its a good all around truck. For about $38k, its pretty decent value for the money.
For 2022 a Splash edition comes back, along with a special stx package for the XL trim. These trims will be offered as the year moves along. Come 2023 we should get the new Ford Ranger which i mention and show you in this video. Cant wait to get behind the wheel of this new one, specially the Ranger Raptor!
