Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine four months ago, getting information about life in the regions Russian forces have occupied has become increasingly difficult.
Russia's invasion ended access to Ukrainian products, but those produced in Russia are expensive and take time to arrive, and Russia is phasing out Ukraine's currency in favour of its own roubles, which are not always easy for Ukrainians to access.
Large protests against the occupation in the initial stages after the invasion are now rare but a resistance movement is beginning to appear.
