You see, many people approach this company with a get rich quick or something for nothing mindset, which sets them up for failure before they even begin.

1. Mindset - truth be told, most people simply don't treat this business seriously. They treat their business like a hobby and end up with hobby results. If you're in this business half heartedly, hoping to have some success and really not taking this seriously, then you might as well quit, because you're not going to have much success... in fact you're probably going to lose more money than you make, lose your friends, end up bitter then blame the company for your lack of results.
2. Marketing Training - the second reason why most people involved with this opportunity fail is because of a lack of proper marketing training. Now chances are, you've been told in order to succeed you need to talk to your family and friends then move onto your associates. Now, there is nothing wrong with approaching your family or friends, because honestly the most successful companies in network marketing were built this way, which leads us to reason number three.
3. A Lack Of Leads or qualified prospects - what do you do when you run out of family and friends and you're sick and tired of talking to people who are simply not interested in your business.
If you're like me, you've probably been told to go pitch strangers at walmart and cold call purchased leads who are really good at rejecting you. Frankly, I grew fed up of doing home parties, pitching strangers at walmart and calling cold leads (really sucks).
4. Lack of cash flow - If you're not actively selling products or recruiting new distributors into your business, you'll end up spending more than you actually earn. Most people in direct sales make less than $100 a month, which is why so many people quit the industry.
