Establishing a digital marketplace for government procurement in India has been “totally dependent on digital transformation,” says the platform’s CEO. Prashant Kumar Singh describes how the Government e-Marketplace enhanced the efficiency, speed and transparency in public procurement of goods and services for the government, as well as for its suppliers.

He also discusses how the platform benefits from the scalability and security of the cloud, due to the workload of handling around 35,000 queries per second.
