Like my Leia video, I thought I'd do a visual comparison for Both of Disney's Young Luke Scenes.
The Rise Of Skywalker used recycled footage of Luke from the Original Trilogy to create a shot where the footage looked natural. In The Mandalorian Season 2 finale, a CGI image of Luke was created and superimposed onto an actor.
