If you have detention time and you don't get paid I will tell you how to change that. It takes a mindset change first. You may have to end up changing jobs but if they aren't paying you I think its no big loss. Why would you stay where you aren't paid? Your time is valuable so be sure to charge for it and don't accept sitting for free anymore.
