"Global Geospatial Information Management & Sustainable Development: some observations."

In a recent lecture hosted by IDRC, Dr Fraser Taylor, one of the world’s leading cartographers, spoke about the impact of location data on sustainable development. A member of the UN Committee of Experts on Geospatial Information Management and the Director of the Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre at Carleton University in Ottawa, Taylor is passionate about ushering in a conceptual shift in managing geospatial information.
