Following are the important details related to our journey.

Summit Mall Stone, Darjeeling - We booked our accommodation in this hotel which is located near Mall Road of Darjeeling. This hotel is near to Glenary’s bakery & Mahakaal Restaurant. It is new Hotel .

Tariff - Rs 2744 for double occupancy, we were lucky that we got good deal as in november hotel had just opened, something like early bird offer.

Mt Kanchenjunga View point - We started our day by seeing the clear view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, this view point is near Raj Bhavan, Darjeeling. During 1st November to 15th December there are high chances that you get to see a clear view of the hill. Some people also visit this view point to see the sunrise, instead of going to Tiger hill.

Tiger Hills - This is one of the top tourist spots for sunrise but i didn’t go there, as i was told that one has to get up at 3 am and leave by 3.30 am to make it for the sunrise on time.

Mahakal Mandir - At 10 minutes walking distance from sunrise point, we reached historical Lord Shiva temple, which is visited by Buddhist as well as HIndus. There is a idol of Lord Gautam Buddha there as well.

Many decades ago, This temple used to be the monastery named Dorje-ling which was built by Lama Dorjey Rinzing.

Keventers - This is an iconic eatery in mall road darjeeling, you need to spare time as people stand in queue, just before this restaurant gets open.
We had Baked beans in tomato sauce for Rs 130 and also the Bhetki fish - Rs 250 along with the Darjeeling tea for breakfast.

Over all it was decent but baked beans was not as good, just ok.

Darjeeling Railway station - Darjeeling Himalayan Railway it is UNESCO world heritage rail network, it was established in 1881.

Toy Train Timings - Diesel engine - 9:25 am joy ride starts till 3:45 pm - Ticket Price - Rs 1000
and Steam engine - 11:30 am Joy ride starts - price person - Rs 1500

Batasia Loop - It is eco garden, Located at a 7000 ft

Ghum Station with Ghum Museum - Located at 7407 ft height. Highest heritage railway station in the world.

Ghoom Monastery - Also known as Yiga choeling monastery,

Noryang Tibetan Kitchen - Lunch Chicken Shapta - Rs 200, Tingmo - Rs 40 per pc and chicken keema noodles - Rs 300

Tara Circle - Hostel near mall road - Rs 600 for per bed, this is at a walking distance of about 300 meters from Noryang Tibbetan kitchen restaurant where we had lunch, location is near TV tower.

Japanese Buddhist Temple - Peace Pagoda the timing of this monastery
Morning 4:30 am to 6:00 am
Evening 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
When we reached their retreat ceremony it was a peaceful experience.

Glenary’s - We came back to the nehru road, wanted to experience the muffin and red velvet pastry.
Blueberry Muffin - Rs 105 per pc.
