In this episode the Hobbits meet Strider for the first time. There are a lot of differences to the LotR book, but the core essence stays the same. I would say Aragorn is even more “like a boss” in the books. A mysterious guy, who knows about the Nâzgul, can walk pretty much unseen and carries a broken sword around. Ofc Frodo is suspicious and book and film play with this, if he can be trusted.
There are also many little details and references in the Prancing Pony. Peter Jackson and his team really tried, but ofc had to make some compromises and small changes. We will also look a bit into the technical side of the film.
I hope you enjoy this Lord of the Rings books and film references and differences episode. The playlist is here:
