Governor RN Ravi, DMK Ministers Ponmudy, Durai Murugan, Union Minister L Murugan, AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami, DGP Sylendra Babu and other officials were present to welcome Modi. He will shortly reach the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, where he will lay the foundation stones of 11 projects worth over Rs 31,500 crore.
