At Ebsco, quality control is an integral part of every production position. Initial Quality
Control lies with every member of the Ebsco team. In addition, after all the springs
have been through all processes they are returned to Quality Assurance. Ebsco Spring
Company performs a final inspection to verify quality has been maintained through the
entire production process per the customers and EBSCO’s requirements.
Several tests are then performed.
Squareness- Verfiy squareness is accurate
LOAD- tested to make sure all tolerances are met.
Dimensional Criteria- checked to ensure all criteria is met
After the springs have been checked, test reports are then printed and filed for any
future reference. If certifications are required by customer copies are made to ship
along with parts traceable to that run lot.
SHIPPING
After the springs have been approved and have met all standards and criteria, they are
ready to be shipped.
Ebsco Spring Company utilizes UPS, Fed-X, DHL and other common carriers for
shipping. We also have our own Delivery Truck for local and regional customers. Our
local delivery service allows us to customize packaging, utilizing customer provided
containers that will move directly to their warehouse facility with minimal handling.
It is our goal to work with our customers to provide customized packaging solutions
that offer standardization and reduced handling.
Boxes, bags, crates, barrels and pallets are available to the customer.
In addition, blanket agreements are available per the customers request.
At EBSCO, we only use certified electronic scales to insure shipping the proper amount
of springs to our customers.
