For those of you who don't know; the island of Santorini was formed through numerous volcanic eruptions which gave shape to the scaling cliffs of the islands of the area such as mainland Santorini and then the volcanic islands of Nea and Palea Kameni. After the eruptions the center filled with water, which is called the caldera and that is the area that we got to swim in!
