Here's a slow motion video of the first real hot-fire test of our kerolox engine design. The ignition sequence is pretty sloppy, with a big fuel-rich initial fireball. After ignition, the O:F ratio starts out decent, but quickly deteriorates as the oxygen tank pressure falls due to an undersized regulator upstream. This is visible as the exhaust plume near the nozzle exit becomes increasingly sooty. There's also some slight pressure oscillation noticeable in the length of the plume, likely coupled to the diminishing feed pressure on the liquid oxygen side.
