HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Madisonville Police arrested a man on Monday after authorities say he caused the death of a two-month-old.
According to a release from MPD, emergency services responded on October 2 to reports of a two-month-old who was not breathing on Couch Street. The child was transported to the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, where he was pronounced dead on October 5.
An autopsy ruled the cause of death as homicide due to blunt force trauma.
Madisonville Police arrested the boyfriend of the child’s mother, Anthony Paige, 22, on October 7. He was booked into the Hopkins County Jail and charged with murder.
The Elliot-Bowles Mortuary in Madisonville confirms 2-month old Ayden Sing passed away at the Vanderbilt Medical Center and complete obituary information will be on their website as soon as it becomes available.
