Corinth Pipeworks, the steel pipes segment of Cenergy Holdings, has completed a strategic capacity expansion to further strengthen its position as a leading supplier of high-quality steel pipes for the energy sector.
To support its expanding customer base and robust project backlog, Corinth Pipeworks executed a strategic plan to boost production capacity and improve efficiency.
The company has installed a dedicated new finishing line in Helical Submerged Arc Welding (HSAW) pipe mill, allowing it to operate independently from Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) pipe mill. This investment allows the two large diameter pipe mills to produce simultaneously, increasing production flexibility and eliminating production bottlenecks.
The company's strategic focus is to maximize LSAW production for high-value offshore and onshore gas pipelines and Carbon Capture & Storage infrastructure, while HSAW production will focus on large onshore trunklines for gas and hydrogen.
This investment underlines Corinth Pipeworks' commitment to cutting-edge welded pipe technology and coating solutions, ensuring that the company will continue to meet the evolving demands of the energy infrastructure sector for years to come.
