Full 10+ minute takeoff video from inside a Boeing 787 Dreamliner at Philadelphia International Airport (KPHL) en route to Miami International Airport (KMIA). Flight was just over 2 hours long, one of the shortest (if not the shortest) 787 routes in the world. Video was taken on Saturday, May 29 2021 from seat 6A in Main Cabin Extra.

This is my first time on a B787 Dreamliner and I wanted to film the occasion. Always wanted to go one on, and when I had to return from the Mid-Atlantic region to Los Angeles, I decided to would hitch a ride on one with a 40 minute layover in Miami.

To my knowledge, this is the shortest route for a 787 and it is rare that a 787 is used for a domestic flight. This specific plane came from Amsterdam in the Netherlands and was empty (only about 15 seats were taken). However, on the flight to Miami it was full. One of the best flights I've taken, and one of the first ones during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Face masks were required unless eating or drinking on board.
