In this video, we show you how to angle cut two boards that have different widths. If you have two boards that are the same width, you can just make 45 degree cuts in each board in order for the boards to attach together. However, I show in the beginning of the video that this will not work if the boards are a different width.
In order to angle cut two boards of different width with a miter saw, you must first mark a line on the bigger board that marks the width of the smaller board. Then you measure the angle from the corner to the bottom part of the line on the board. That will then give you the angle that you will need to cut both boards in order to have the boards be flush together.
