In a previous video I shared my initial views of the Mobilinkd TNC 3 APRS device, for this video I take the device connected to a Baofeng a little further to test how easy it was to use it while hiking through high ground.

Initially I did not set the input high enough missing many packets and when I got home I discovered that my location details were all over the place indicating that relying on my Android phones location services was a bad idea.

Although the device performs exceptionally well, I find the location setting and tracking cumbersome when relying on the mobile GPS to take care of that. I'd hoped to use a larger Android tablet however this has no GPS on it which limits my options.
