The best place to fish on the Ohio River is no secret anymore, it is a very well-known fishery for fisherman of all sorts. The falls of the Ohio sits between Indiana and Louisville Ky and is a unique place to fish, the river actually drops 26 feet in 1 mile making for some shallow and fast water below McAlpine dam, this type of water brings in every species of fish in the river and makes it easy to catch them, trophy catfish, sauger, striped bass, sturgeon, and all other species, there is also some deep water at the lower gates which is another dam just down from the upper gates and it has a new level of boat fishing to be done for the serious angler, definitely a bucket list trip for any fisherman in the country.
