It was recently suggested that adjusting the playback speed of a YouTube video directly impacts how YouTube measure the retention time of the video.

This means a video watched at 2.0 speed should have 50% retention... but if that's true a video watched at 0.25 speed would have 400% retention.

Retention Time is one of the most important metrics to the YouTube algorithm so I wanted to see for myself if this was in fact true and if it had any impact on the performance of this video
