Creating a snake plant using masking tape is a fun and creative craft project.

**Materials Needed:**
- masking tape
- Scissors
- Wire
- A small pot or container
- Stones/ Foam (to secure the plant in the pot)

Begin by cutting strips of plain masking tape to the desired length of your snake plant leaves. Fold each strip in half, sticky sides together, to form double-sided leaves.
Trim the edges to create the characteristic pointed shape. Use green and yellow markers or paint to color the tape, mimicking the natural variegation of snake plant leaves by adding green as the base color and yellow along the edges.
For added structure, place a wire cleaner between the folded tape before sealing it completely, allowing you to shape the leaves as desired.
Finally, place the leaves into a small pot or container, and your colored masking tape snake plant is ready for display.
