To break the cycle of sluggish growth, the region requires a major economic-policy rethink, focusing on smaller informal sectors, increased competition, and improved business environments. By addressing these challenges head-on, Latin America can seize opportunities in the shifting global economy and green transition, ultimately unlocking its full potential.
