Welcome to Coast 35 — Kapiti Coasts newest and longest off-road trail 🚴🚶🐎
The Coast 35 connects Paekākāriki and Ōtaki through a shared trail that runs parallel with the Kāpiti expressway. The 35km trail is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists and horse riders and features dunes, wetlands, bridges, tunnels, tram crossings and underpasses.
From Coast 35, you can access the Waikanae and Ōtaki River trails and local roads. You could also pay a visit to a café in Paekākāriki, Harrisons Garden World café in Peka Peka and Ruth Pretty’s Garden Café in Te Horo.
The Coast 35 is the gateway to some of Kapiti Coasts best spots and is a great trail to spend a day or half a day exploring all this area has to offer.
