Kalyan accused Gandhi of seeking votes from Sanatani Hindus while disrespecting Lord Ram. He declared himself an unapologetic Sanatani Hindu and called for a national act to protect the Sanatana Dharma. Kalyan also criticised Tamil Nadu's Deputy Chief Minister Uday Nidhi for his comments on Sanatana Dharma.
