ANCIENT AMERICAN MYSTERIES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL welcome directors, producers, technicians, and artists to Fort Madison, Iowa, to present their fantastic stories, competing for awards in multiple categories. Workshops, debates, and business meetings will help grow their network in America and the world. And every year we officially invite one country to exhibit productions about their folklore, mysteries, and legends.

The festival takes place at THE PHOENICIAN SHIP MUSEUM, home of the only replica ship from 600 BC. This ship sailed around Africa and crossed the Atlantic Ocean, proving that ancient mariners had the technology to arrive in the Americas thousands of years before the Europeans. In Fort Madison, you will also find the new MISSISSIPPI RIVERVIEW PARK, an 1808 U.S. MILITARY FORT, historic towns, and other attractions.
