The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation, tasked at meeting several political and religious parties of the country, met with the second-largest opposition party Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) on Saturday.
Head of delegation Farooq Sattar, speaking to the media after the meeting, reiterated his party's stance of 'uniting all the political parties of the country for the greater good'.
"We need to start working on solving issues from now on to ensure better working in the future," said Sattar while thanking JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Rehman, in turn, also thanked Farooq Sattar and MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain for calling for unity in the country.
"The country is facing serious challenges which need to be solved with national unity," said Rehman adding that his party has also always stressed on the importance of unity.
