The Gen 2 WK-180C is finally here. But can we join several types of magazines with this new rifle in holy polygamous bullet spewing matrimony? Two things are certain: 1) I'm going to give it a try, and B) It's easy to make gun stuff sound really immature.

Things I learned today:
1. Saskatchewan is only windy or only has crappy weather when I want to go to the range
2. Several features can be seen in this video in action that are definite upgrades to the Gen 1 WK-180c. Can you spot them all?
C. Some of the sound quality sucks cause I tried to edit some of the wind out for you folks. It's a double edged sword...
IV. A shell deflector would have been nice on the Gen 2, in my opinion, but it is clearly not required in order for the rifle to function, as demonstrated in this video. Contrary opinions are subjective. My vote? It should have a shell deflector.
Numero Cinco. That exact Cross Industries mag used in this video worked without issue in my Gen 1 WK-180C, and works without issue in my custom TNA/Spec180 180C. Others have had issues with Cross mags in both 180C's and MCR's. This is my first experience with this issue. That Hera mag, and 9 others just like it over insert in every rifle accepting ar15 magazines that I have ever tried. That's a Hera problem, not a WK-180C problem.

Final thoughts today: I am really enjoying this rifle compared to the Gen 1. It's more comfortable, has better features, and so far has eaten every round of ammo that it has picked up without jams or misfires.
