Forward head posture (texting, computer, sleeping incorrectly, and driving) causes the head to protrude forward putting stress on the joints and nerves in the neck region. Over time the normal cervical lordotic curve straightens (military neck) and continues to progress to a reversal of the cervical curve (kyphosis). Osteoarthritis, spondylosis, degenerative discs, herniated/bulging discs, and pinched nerves are commonly associated with this condition.
