Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed the government’s COVID-19 tracking app is strictly to assist health authorities to follow the spread of the coronavirus.
The prime minister stressed the app has a “specific job – for a time limited period” and only the health officer at state and territory levels would have access to the information gathered through it.
