The Goa police department has dismissed IRB Constable Amit Naik, who is accused of allegedly helping history sheeter Siddiqui @Suleman Khan escape from the Crime Branch lockup.

Amit Naik surrendered at Hubli police station and was interrogated. Naik was later brought to Old Goa police station.

As per sources, Siddiqui @ Suleman Khan had offered Rs 3 Cr to constable Amit Naik to help him escape from the crime branch lockup. Siddiqui had promised to give him cash after dropping him in Karnataka.
