West Bengal's Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Kumar has returned to Kolkata after visiting Sandeshkhali on February 22. During his visit, he assured that necessary action would be taken against those who violated the law.
Addressing the media, DGP Rajeev Kumar stated, "Action will be taken against all those who took the law into their own hands. The allegations raised by locals are being thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken against anyone found guilty of breaking the law."
His comments come in the aftermath of recent incidents in Sandeshkhali, where there were allegations of lawlessness and violence.
