This Calculus 3 video explains how to calculate the dot product of two vectors in 3D space. We work a couple of examples of finding the dot product of 3-dimensional vectors, and we show how to use the dot product to find the angle between two vectors. We also explore how to use the dot product to show that two vectors are orthogonal.
