This week, we will take a look at the story of Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24. Abraham sent his servant to his homeland to find a wife for his son, Isaac.
So, the servant set off on a journey to find Isaac but how would he know when he found her? The servant prayed that God would send the girl who was to be Isaac's wife to the well to get water for him and his camels once he arrived to Abraham's homeland. Led by the Lord, the servant was greeted by Rebekah and everything happened just as the servant had asked in his prayer to God!
The story is a great reminder that, step by step, God can and will do whatever is necessary to fulfill His promises. He is a God of order and He is working out every little detail. We can trust God daily to provide for our needs. He is always there and wants to help us!
