Try Out This Protein rich Dinner Tofu Quesadilla
Recipe
Ingredients
1.Onion- 1cup
2. Cabbage- 1 cup
3. Spring onion - 1/4 cup
4.Jalapeno peppers- 2
5. Garlic - 3 cloves
4. Kidney beans/ Rajma - 1 cup ( boiled)
5. Tofu - 250g
6. Salt - 1 tsp
7. Pepper powder- 1 tsp
8.Oregano - 2 tsp
9. Chilli powder- 2tsp
10. Tomato paste/ ketchup - 1 tbs
11. Soy sauce - 1 tbs
12.. Oil - 1/2 tbs
13. Ghee/ Butter - 1 tsp
14.Tortilla / Roti -5
Method
1. Heat a pan, add oil and veggies
2. Sauté them for 5 min in medium flame
3. Now add kidney beans / rajma, mix well
4. Add salt, chilli powder, oregano and tomato paste / ketchup
5. Sauté them for 4 min in low flame and turn off the flame
Heat a pan and brush some for frying tofu
7.Add Add tofu, pepper powder, salt, oregano & chilli powder
8. Toast them for 1 minute and add soy sauce
9. Cook in low flame for 6 minutes & turn off
10. Brush some ghee/ butter on a pan to crisp up the tortillas/ roti
11.On one half of the roti / tortilla spread the veggie mix and tofu
12. Fold with the other half of roti and cook in medium flame until crispy and flip it
13. Cook in medium flame for 1 min until crispy and serve with your favourite dip
