As one of the largest internet company in the world, Tencent is doing more and more contributions to open source world, include: open source more than 70 projects, and join many open source community with developing features and patches and contribute back. In Tencent, we have an official open source department to drive and support open source project from incubating stage. In practice, we actually adopt Apache way to manage whole process in a way of bottom-up. In this talk, we will show why we adopt Apache way and how we do it in a local company with a different culture.
