It is really simple to get started with HiveMQ Cloud in just a few steps. There is no credit card required. HiveMQ Cloud Free is a free MQTT Cloud Broker that enables you to connect up to 100 IoT devices.
1. Visit [ Ссылка ]. Click on “Sign Up now”
2. Enter your email address and choose a password
3. You will receive an email to confirm your email address. Clicking on “Confirmation” will bring you back to the sign-up page of HiveMQ Cloud
4. Log in to HiveMQ Cloud with the credentials you just entered
5. Enter some details to complete your profile (no credit card required).
6.Your first cluster is now running. In order to connect IoT devices, you will have to create credentials for your cluster.
You are now ready to connect your first MQTT clients. There are several ways to do this. In this example, we will use MQTT CLI.
7. If you do not have MQTT CLI installed, follow the instructions we provided
8. Open a terminal. Type
$ mqtt
to check, if MQTT CLI is up and running
9. Go back to our instructions and copy the “subscribe” command. Paste it to your terminal. You will have to enter the password you chose when you created the credentials for your first cluster.
10. Go back to our instructions and copy the “publish” command.
11. It is important you open a new terminal window now. Paste the subscribe command and enter your password again
12. Your subscriber terminal will output the string “Enter” to acknowledge your MQTT clients are now connected. Try it again with your own message.
And that´s it. Getting started with HiveMQ Cloud and running a free cloud MQTT broker is just that easy.
