Stunning drone shot of the rugged cliffs of Heimaey Island - the main island of the Westman Islands combined with the music of @asgeirmusic (playing part of the haunting song he debuted for us at Harpa concert hall). This island is actually made up of two volcanoes, one of which erupted in 1973 destroying 400 homes - the rust colored ground is all the volcanic residue from that eruption and contrasts pretty starkly with the green fields in the distance, and then there are those beautiful arches that dot the shoreline. And that's me hanging out with chef @gislimatt before we head off to his restaurant @slippurinn for an amazing meal that evening. You should go there.
