State President of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bandi Sanjay was stopped by police and shifted to Abdullapurmet Police Station, while he was on his way to Munugode to register his protest against ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party not leaving the constituency against the polling guidelines ahead of by-elections in the area.
Sanjay was stopped by the police on the national highway at Malakpet, while he was on his way to Munugode with his convoy. A clash was also witnessed among the BJP workers in Sanjay’s convoy and the policemen.
