Moscow is currently hosting the industrial exhibition "Moscow 2030," where companies utilizing modern CNC machine tools manufactured by the STAN holding are showcasing their products.
In particular, the United Engine Corporation has unveiled a full-scale mockup of the newest PD-14 aviation engine - the first serial fifth-generation engine for medium-haul aircraft. This engine is manufactured using cutting-edge technologies and domestic materials.
Visitors can not only see the engine mockup but also learn about its development stages and characteristics.
For example, the production of parts for the PD-14 involves five-axis milling machining centers from NPO Stankostroenie and lathes from the Ryazan Machine Tool Plant. This equipment is capable of processing complex parts such as drive shafts, rotor parts, and turbine components. CNC profile grinding machines from the STAN plant in Moscow use deep grinding to process the serrated profiles of working blades.
The engine mockup is installed at the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya, in the same hall as the mockup of the MS-21-300 fuselage.
